Lou Palmer is a Windsor born, East London based songwriter and singer and the former front woman of Britpop band Honeytunnel and noughties indie artists Loopjoy.

She's currently recording a solo Americana project with Sean Read (Rockingbirds, The Pretenders, Dexys, Edwyn Collins), James Walbourne (The Rails, The Pretenders) and Carwyn Ellis (Colorama, Edwyn Collins, Sarah Cracknell), Paul Winterhart (Black Casino and The Ghost, Kula Shaker) and legendary pedal steel player BJ Cole (First Aid Kit, REM, Jimmy Webb).

Recent releases include a cover of Scott Walkers Nite Flites with Welsh band Sendeca and she’s currently collaborating on an electro project with Marc Slade for release Summer 2019.

She appears as a featured vocalist with various electro, drum & bass and trance artists including Astralasia, who she currently fronts live at festivals around the country. She’s had releases with artists including Children of Dub, Salt Tank and Under The Honeytunnel. She provides session vocals for artists from EDM to pop and country and performs solo and private gigs covering genres as diverse as jazz, swing and the American Songbook.
